A piece performed in collaboration with a carer. I read a text assembled from a mix of original writing and fragments of prayers for the changing of seasons while being undressed and cleaned.
These photos are from a performance with my partner and key carer Vic Porter at Live Art Club in Summer 2023. I am reading into a microphone, and Vic has contact mics taped onto each of her hands.
'Merging' is a joint project between Vic and I. I came up with the idea for this performance while improvising with Vic in our home in a similar set up.
